In her role as Chair, Jennifer is responsible for
overseeing and managing Homegrown Ontario goals
and objectives through activities such as board policy,
financial management, consumer marketing and
industry communications.
Jennifer is also the executive director of the Ontario
Veal Association (OVA) and has been with the OVA since 1998.
Jennifer holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Master of Business
Administration both from the University of Guelph. She is a member of the
Ontario Chapter of the Canadian Agricultural Marketing Association and the
Canadian Society of Association Executives where she has obtained the professional
designation of Certified Association Executive (CAE).
What can Jennifer talk about? Jennifer’s knowledge of the meat side of the
agricultural industry in Ontario allows her to impart a wealth of knowledge on
local production and what consumers can expect from Homegrown Ontario
producers and their products.

David Zimmer, Homegrown Ontario Food Specialist David Zimmer has been a freelance magazine writer and
editor for more than 19 years. David has worked for
11 years in the editorial department of Cottage Life
magazine, with three years as Editor in Chief. David is
also a cookbook editor and recipe developer and has
received multiple national and international awards for
writing and editing and has been recognized by the
Canadian National Magazine Awards and the
International Regional Magazine Awards. |
