Homegrown Ontario Privacy Statement

Homegrown Ontario respects the privacy of personal information and deals with
personal information in accordance with this Privacy Statement.
Type of Information Collected
Personal information we collect may include, without limitation:
name, address, phone number, and/or email address;
other general information we may obtain through surveys, questionnaires and regular
business practice.
Sharing Personal Information
Below are some examples of third parties to whom we may disclose non-public personal
information. These examples do not cover every situation: they are designed to
help you understand how personal information may be shared. We may share personal
information:
With companies or organizations that work with or for Homegrown Ontario to provide
services or process transactions you've requested. For example, we may use companies
to help us mail newsletters, news bulletins, statements, etc.
With a party representing you, such as your accountant, farm business advisor,
feed company representative, veterinarian, lawyer, or other third parties at
your direction/consent.
When permitted or required by law, such as in response to a subpoena or other
legal process.
If you wish to withdraw consent to your personal information being collected,
used and disclosed for any of Homegrown Ontario's purposes, please contact us
at the number or address listed below. However, in some circumstances, legal
requirements may prevent you from withholding or withdrawing consent. We may
also have to limit the services we provide if you withhold or withdraw consent
to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information (if such collection,
use or disclosure is necessary for the provision of those services).
Confidentiality and Security
Homegrown Ontario staff is required to follow procedures with respect to maintaining
the confidentiality of your personal information collected by Homegrown Ontario.
Additionally, we maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect
the information.
Reviewing this Privacy Statement
Periodically we will review and revise this Privacy Statement. We will not, however,
revise this Statement to permit the sharing of personal information other than
as described herein unless we first provide you with an opportunity to prevent
the sharing of that information.
